CAMPUS PLUS EXPANDS OPERATIONS TO AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND
Campus Plus, the Australian-based company forging a new path in the research commercialiastion sector in Australia and the UK, has announced that they have now added Aotearoa New Zealand to the fold. Established in 2020, Campus Plus experienced strong growth during the early stages of the pandemic when their offering of researcher professional development “at scale” resonated with a genuine need in the Australian market.
“We work closely with commercialisation professionals at more than 50 institutions across Australia and the United Kingdom, with a proven platform and methodology to support the commercialisation of unique ideas, discoveries and inventions from their institutions,” explains Campus Plus Group CEO, Nick McNaughton. “I’m really delighted that New Zealand Universities and Crown Research Institutes will be able to sign up now to access our services from 2024.”
Campus Plus New Zealand’s Co-Founder Beckie Duffy explains that New Zealand institutions will not only benefit from existing Campus Plus content and expertise, “We are also working closely with our colleagues in Australia and the UK to bring exciting new developments to market in New Zealand in 2024.” The former Head of People & Engagement at Wellington UniVentures says that being highly responsive to market needs sets the Campus Plus New Zealand offering apart. “We’re already having conversations where the feedback from our global Campus Plus markets is proving really valuable to our New Zealand-based clients. That insight is a real advantage for our clients here, and we can feed New Zealand client perspectives straight back into new offerings as well.”
